At Sagar, our roots trace back to Udupi, a coastal town in Karnataka renowned for its authentic South Indian vegetarian cuisine. Inspired by this rich tradition, our chefs bring the vibrant flavours of South India to the UK, serving vegetarian and vegan dishes crafted to delight. With five branches, we pride ourselves on warm hospitality and making every dining experience truly memorable.

Amidst the glittering lights and the hustle and bustle, you might just stumble upon the West End home of Sagar (though it's actually a lot quicker if you use your phone to search for us!).
There you'll find a unique atmosphere that evokes a different world, many thousands of miles away in the heart of South India. Plus, enough vegan/veggie options to leave you utterly spoilt for choice!
ABOUT THE AREA
Much has been written about the West End! The setting for The Pet Shop Boys' famous synth-pop classic of the 80s, "West End Girls", the area abounds with famous landmarks such as Piccadilly Circus, along with shops and attractions galore - and that's before you've made it to the many theatres that line the surrounding streets and squares.

"I ordered idli. Idlis, and the sambar and chutnies served alongside were delicious and filling. I had also ordered Molga podi, a delicious mix of powered lentils and spices. Molga podi was simply yummy. Very friendly staff and lovely ambience. Strongly recommend if you love South Indian food."

"This is the second time I've been and it certainly won't be the last! It's a delightful vegetarian and vegan restaurant, it's easy to see which dishes are vegetarian and which are vegan. The food is incredible and these pictures don't do it justice. Everything was amazing, the staff are always very friendly and helpful and I'd highly recommend eating here"
